The Social Play Academy was founded by Clinical Psychologist William Ellison to explore a different approach to social skills development.

Rather than teaching social skills in isolation, our programs use research-based strategies such as learning through play, peer interaction, modelling, visual supports, and guided practice, all woven into collaborative adventures that give young people the opportunity to use these skills together.
