One of the many characters players encounter throughout Dragons of the Spectrum, Marcus becomes part of the unfolding story as the adventurers work together to navigate their next challenge.

🗺️ Adventures don’t end when the session does

Between sessions, participants are given homework activities that build on the social theme they’ve explored that week, encouraging them to practice their skills away from the game and continue the learning between adventures.

🧙 Who will you be in Adelarn?

In their second DOTS session, players take a personality quiz to help choose from the six Races of Adelarn: Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, Orcs and Goblins.

Why might an adventurer choose to be a Goblin? Maybe they’re resourceful, a little mischievous, good at thinking on their feet and not afraid to get their hands dirty.

At Norgs’s Item Shop, players will decide how to spend their hard-earned gold, think ahead and decide on priorities for their character in the adventures ahead.

A single quest can ask a lot of an adventuring party.

Players might need to listen to different ideas, negotiate their next move, adapt when things don't go to plan, manage emotions, and work together to reach a shared goal.

In our programs, these skills aren't practiced individually. They're woven into the adventure, creating opportunities to use multiple social skills together as the story unfolds.

🎲 Why role-playing games?

Tabletop role-playing games create opportunities for participants to practise communication, teamwork, flexible thinking, emotional regulation, and problem-solving as part of the adventure.

Instead of only talking about social skills, participants experience them through shared experiences, collaboration, and play.
