Movement isn’t something you have to be ‘taught’. It’s old as time. And as young as children who run and dance and play uninhibited until the world teaches them otherwise.
I should know, I learned to not take up space. I was the one in the corner witching, longing, a c h i n g to join in the dance and the play.

It was my body, and still is, that has taught me to move. And as I’ve learned to listen to my inner nudges, urges, knowing I’m learning to dance. To take up space, to be seen.

The intention and INVITATION of MOVEMENT LAB is, among other things, at its core — a space for this remembering. Your body is your best teacher.

I’m a guide. And we’re all learning together.

Also, I love how movement connects us to not only ourselves but to the earth and each other.
Come have a play! A dance, come move with us!

Highly recommend giving K-POP Demons Hunters and Pocahontas a watch. Both movies that have now impacted me incredibly deeply, to the point of goosebumps. I love how kids movies we’ve such deep knowing and messaging into them. (Which does mean I think it’s important to take note of what messages are in kids movies in particular!!)

This next generation is getting the massage that being messy doesn’t need to be hidden in order to be human, excepted or loved! And that give me hope and makes me happy!

Shame shifts when we share it!

Go. Do. The thing.

If you have a vision, fantasy, anything you can imagine… It’s there inside of you because you can create it. Because it’s yours to create. And, the world actually needs you to take the action and build the thing in the physical world.

In doing so you allow other people to get on board, respond, help you create something that brings their gift their magic your magic and we have something that is so much greater than it. Go do the thing. Go create the things that live inside you because we need it.

By far the most edgy thing I’ve shared so far — but also the thing that feels most alive and — TRUE. And one thing doesn’t exist without all the others; as in my life is not compartmentalised AND asking to bring to life my vision and fantasy is the most empowering and spiritual experience— it turns out!!

Watch out for our upcoming events! I’m pretty excited for what’s coming!!

Self trust — builds self love.

And trust is built in doing the little things that matter TO YOU! And that requires you — or in this case— me to — get clear on what matters to me!

I didn’t intend for these 30 days to be quite so…personal or vague ! But here we are! These unedited videos (let me tell you I wanna re record this vid, the theme doesn’t seem ‘clear’) — among other things, feel like they’re helping me show up and work out what does matter to me!

Touch. As dance!
I often process as I speak — so this is me real time spitballing some more on touch and the magic of it!

And the way for me, I am moved by the same sensations in my body (when I get out of my head and let my body and intuitive movement move me) — for BOTH touch and dance. Perhaps this has been evident to everyone all along and I’m not just feeling the profoundness of this but — it’s releasing things in me!

Touch and dance, dance and touch. They’re not separate.

Touch, dance, connection, desire, self expression…none of it is seperate or different and listening to and letting the body move as feels natural and intuitive— especially when programming has told us otherwise…is magic and powerful!!

(Forgot my mike again, but you can mostly hear me! On a really perineal level, I’m loving these 3minute rambles! Hope you are too!)
