These would have to be my favourite gummies I’ve made. Not only are they delicious, but they’re packed with ingredients that support both gut health and sleep.
Pomegranate is rich in polyphenols that help nourish beneficial gut bacteria and contribute to the production of anti-inflammatory compounds within the microbiome. It’s also a great source of antioxidants that help protect cells from oxidative stress.
Combined with gelatin, which provides amino acids such as glycine, proline and glutamine to support the gut lining and connective tissue, these little gummies are doing more than just tasting good.
And the star ingredient for sleep? Tart cherry 🍒
Tart cherry naturally contains melatonin and has been shown to support healthy sleep quality and duration. It’s also rich in antioxidants that help calm inflammation and support recovery overnight.
Basically, they’re the perfect excuse to eat gummies as part of your wellness routine 🤍
Method:
Mix all liquids together in a saucepan on low.
In a seperate bowl, add the gelatin with 6 Tspn of water, mix and let sit for a few minutes to bloom
Add bloomed gelatin to the saucepan and mix well until dissolved.
Allow it to cool & pour into glass container or moulds and in the fridge to set for a few hours!
