Maybe slow living doesn’t require a holiday.
This weekend, I went on a little coffee tour around Manningham while out for a walk.
At one of the cafés, I got chatting to a lady who was looking at buying back into the area.
A simple conversation with someone I’d never met, but it reminded me how much I love getting out into the community.
We don’t always have to be in a hurry.
And we don’t always have to do everything online.
It’s why I enjoy doing letterbox drops, walking around the local area and getting to know the businesses nearby.
Being based at Business Hub Manningham means I can easily walk to the local strips around Ways Road and Galway Avenue, grab a coffee and explore what’s around me.
It takes me back to being a kid, stopping into the local deli and having a chat.
People talk about slow living when they’re on holidays, but why can’t we have a little of that here?
Whether you’re in Manningham, Broadview, Hampstead Gardens, Vale Park, Greenacres, Klemzig, Sefton Park, Collinswood, Walkerville, Nailsworth, Clearview, Prospect, Marden, Windsor Gardens, Hillcrest or Gilles Plains, there’s plenty of local community right on our doorstep.
For me, being in Manningham isn’t just about having a clinic here.
It’s about being part of the community.
