We’re seeking someone who is passionate about persistent pain and is driven by getting the best outcomes for their patients. If this is you or someone you know, please be in touch! We love to try new things at Form. From running to climbing, to disc golf.

While we know movement has risks, we also know that inactivity is very risky.

Movement has the potential to recondition tissues and recalibrate the pain system. In this way, movement can become a path to recovery and not to greater damage.

After treatment from us, we ultimately hope that all of our patients regain confidence in their bodies and re-engage with more activities they enjoy!

We think if we took a survey of the general public, most people would rank manual therapy (massage, mobilisations etc) and surgery as the top treatments for most aches and pains. The great news is that exercise has better outcomes! If your current treatment is mostly manual therapy, consider changing things up. If you're considering surgery, make sure you have given an exercise intervention a go before going under the knife!

Knowledge is power! We are firm believers that the more you understand something the more ability you have to take control of it! Make sure you leave a consultation with a good understanding of what is going on, ask as many questions as possible!

Most injuries result from some sort of movement, so it might seem odd that movement or exercise is the number one treatment for most musculoskeletal problems. The key is getting the dose right, all those questions and testing help to work out that dose, so that movement and exercise is nourishing and helpful.

The best exercise is something that you enjoy, be sure to let your health professional know your preferences when it comes to exercise.
