Sometimes the real issue is that your gut has become… stuck.

I call this the Stuck Gut Type — a common pattern I see in clinic in people struggling with IBS, constipation, heaviness, and bloating, where they can feel everything and where things might be stuck.

And here’s what most people don’t realise:

👉 Your digestive system isn’t just about breaking food down. It also has to MOVE things through properly.

When movement slows down:
▫️ Food sits longer
▫️ Fermentation increases
▫️ Pressure builds
▫️ Bloating worsens
▫️ Constipation becomes chronic

Which is why so many people feel: “I eat well… but my gut still isn’t working properly.”

One of the hardest parts of living with IBS isn’t always just the symptoms…

It’s feeling unheard while trying to get help.
😔
Over the years, I’ve had countless patients tell me they felt dismissed, rushed, embarrassed, or like they had to “prove” something was wrong before anyone would investigate further.

And honestly?
I’ve experienced this myself with health issues in my own family too.

I want to be clear:
I absolutely believe in collaborative healthcare and work closely with doctors, specialists, and allied health practitioners. GOOD healthcare teams change lives 💙

But many people with IBS still fall through the cracks because IBS is often treated as “just IBS” instead of asking WHY the gut is struggling in the first place.

IBS is a syndrome.
A pattern of symptoms.

And there can be MANY underlying drivers contributing to bloating, pain, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, food reactions, or ongoing flare-ups.

That’s exactly why I created my workshop:

If your digestion feels heavy, slow, or “stuck” after eating… this could be why 👇

Your digestive system may be underfunctioning or lacking digestive fire.

I call this the Low Fire Gut Type 🔥

And it’s not just about stomach acid.
This pattern can involve:
▫️ Reduced enzyme production
▫️ Weak gut-brain signalling
▫️ Sluggish digestive activation
▫️ Poor breakdown of food

Which means food can:
→ Sit too long
→ Ferment
→ Trigger bloating, gas, reflux, and discomfort

This is why some people feel: “I eat healthy… but my gut still reacts.”

Because it’s not always about the food itself!!
(This is really important)

Sometimes it’s about the body struggling to process it properly.
