Taking the risk to reveal usually hidden parts of self can be scary. It often comes with feeling exposed and vulnerable ... we risk betrayal, criticism, rejection. But the growth and relief experienced in letting go and allowing a space for understanding and connection is a moment of change (Greenberg, 2021).
