What a wonderful family day at Alberton Oval this weekend! 💙🖤🤍

We were incredibly proud to see some of our amazing patients and their children take part in the Guard of Honour ahead of the Port Adelaide AFLW Round 6 match at Alberton Oval on 19 September. The family-friendly game day also featured a Fertility SA Baby Race 👶 helping shine a spotlight on fertility awareness and the many pathways to building a family.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the families we have helped create enjoying special community moments together. Watching these parents and little ones run out with the players was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do every day.

Thank you to and for supporting initiatives that help raise awareness of fertility care and celebrate the joy of family. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community and highlight the role fertility specialists play in helping Australians achieve their dreams of parenthood.

To the families who joined us, thank you for sharing your stories and being part of such a memorable day. We loved celebrating with you.

We were honoured to have a table filled with the incredible women from our clinical, scientific and operational teams, whose expertise, dedication and compassion make a difference in the lives of our patients every day.

We’ve helped bring thousands of little South Australians into the world. Now, we’re proud to help grow the next generation of Port supporters. 🖤🤍💙

FertilitySA has joined Port Adelaide Football Club as a key partner across both its AFL and AFLW programs.

For one in six Australians, the path to parenthood doesn’t go to plan. It can be uncertain, heartbreaking and isolating, which is why improving fertility awareness and reducing the stigma around seeking help matters so much.

Through this partnership, we hope to start more open conversations about fertility and remind people that they don’t have to navigate their journey alone.

We’re incredibly proud to stand alongside a club with deep South Australian roots and a shared commitment to supporting people through some of life’s biggest moments.

The view from our clinic each morning is a reminder that every day brings new possibilities. ✨

As the sun rises, our team is already hard at work. Blood tests are underway, scans are being performed by our sonographer Georgia, with help from nurses Michaela and Silvia, doctors are meeting with patients, and nurses are providing guidance and reassurance every step of the way.

At the front desk, Sophie, Kathleen and Maddy are ready with a welcoming smile to help patients start their day with confidence.

👩‍⚕️ Fertility SA was proud to contribute to the Adult Gender Affirming Care in General Practice Workshop on Saturday 22 August, supporting education for GPs and Nurse Practitioners in delivering inclusive, evidence-based care. The workshop explored topics including gender affirming hormone therapy, surgery, sexual health, HIV care, fertility preservation, and donor conception.

A special thank you to our presenters Dr Kate Gowling and Senior Counsellor Brooke Calo, who shared their expertise on fertility preservation, donor conception, and the importance of informed reproductive decision-making for transgender and gender diverse patients.

By supporting GP education, we're helping ensure patients receive timely information about their fertility and family-building options, empowering them to make informed choices about their future.
