I am a chronic “what’s in my bag” scroller. Guilty 💁🏼♀️
So before I fly out - here’s mine.
The naturopath’s guide to travel ✈️
And trust me, I’ve got you covered with the essentials, because if anyone is going to overpack the supplement compartment, it’s me.
Long haul travel is genuinely hard on the body. The immune system, digestion, sleep, circulation, hydration. BUT a little preparation makes the ALL the difference between arriving depleted and arriving ready.
Swipe through for everything I personally pack and the actual reasoning behind each one.
A few highlights:
Kava for the sleep I will not be getting on the plane.
St Mary’s Thistle for the liver I will be asking a lot of.
Compression socks because leg swelling is not the vibe.
Dr Bronner’s lavender sanitiser that I will be using aggressively from the moment I board.
This is what works for me - everyone’s body and needs are different. If you want to know what might work for yours, you know where to find me. 🌿
Honorable mentions that didn’t get their own slide: My reusable water bottle - filled the moment I’m through security and refilled constantly, because hydration on a plane is a full time job.
My Kindle, because a 13 hour flight is actually a gift when you have a good book.
A protein bar for when the plane food is suspiciously beige.
And finally, my Burt’s Bees lip balm, because recycled cabin air will absolutely take your lips out (if you let it).
Now, I have a plane to catch. See you on the other side ✈️🌎
