INTVL is a territory capture running and cycling game (same app, separate maps).

How it works: run or ride a full loop around a block and it’s yours. Run through someone else’s territory and you take it off them. Every block sits on a live, shared global map, in real time, against everyone else playing.

Developed in 2023 by Jordan Hesse and Louis Phillips, the pair had the goal of gamifying running to help motivate people around the world. Since INTVL launched, over 2.5 million people have downloaded, players in 182 countries have captured over 3.5 million different territories, and the community continues to grow.

Users are enjoying the new style of fitness tracking with many people coming back to the sport of running and cycling with a new love for fitness.
