Behind every great support worker is the right training, resources and guidance ❤️

At United Abilities, we’ve developed an Emotional Regulation Support Guide to help our team better support people when emotions become overwhelming.

The guide includes simple breathing exercises, grounding techniques, communication strategies and practical tools that can help people recognise their feelings, stay calm and work through challenges.

Our goal isn’t to fix problems for people. It’s to work alongside them, helping build the skills, confidence and independence they need for everyday life.

Whether it’s feeling anxious about a change in routine, frustrated when things don’t go to plan, or overwhelmed in social situations, having consistent strategies can make a real difference.

We’re proud to continue investing in our team so they can provide the best possible support to the people who trust us to walk alongside them on their journey.

🐉 Adventure awaits at United Abilities — and all are welcome at the table! 🎲

Every Wednesday night from 5–8pm, our Dungeons & Dragons group gets together at the Seaton Hub for three hours of epic quests, creative storytelling, and unforgettable laughs 😄

Never played before? No problem — our sessions are fully supported and beginner-friendly. You don't need any experience, just a sense of adventure!

And while it's an absolute blast, D&D is also sneakily brilliant for building real skills:
