Aniket joined our team just over a year ago, and has carved out an area of expertise in vestibular physiotherapy, helping people with dizziness, vertigo and concussion care.

This is in addition to helping people with all kinds of problems including back and neck pain, knee pain and hip pain.

If you have a problem with dizziness, unsteadiness, vertigo or just feeling 'off', you need to have a chat with him.

He is a really easy guy to talk to, very warm and welcoming. You’ll always feel like you have been heard, no matter what the problem.

He is happy to speak on the phone free of charge to see if he can help. You can message us, ring us on 8356 1000, or book online: bit.ly/AdelaideWestOnline

Migraine symptoms can occur across several phases:

• Prodrome: possible early changes such as yawning, fatigue, neck stiffness or sensory sensitivity
• Aura: temporary neurological symptoms experienced by some people
• Headache: pain, nausea, dizziness and sensitivity to light or sound
• Postdrome: lingering fatigue, fogginess or other symptoms after the headache settles

Not everyone experiences every phase—or the same symptoms each time.

Tracking what happens before, during and after an attack may help reveal your individual pattern.

Constipation is not simply about eating more fibre. It's multifactorial, and physiotherapy can have an important role to play in helping out.

And that’s not just because one of those possible contributors is pelvic floor coordination.

Other factors are gut motility, behaviour and habits, hormonal influences, medications, exercise levels, obstetric history, other medical problems …

Lots of factors and lots of ways of helping.

Management has three broad areas:
• behavioural and lifestyle interventions
• optimising toileting position
• pelvic floor rehabilitation

Lisa enjoys working with people with constipation and bowel dysfunction, and there’s a lot of things that can make things go more smoothly, so to speak.

Sometimes one key piece of advice makes all the difference!

So how long since your last type 4 on the Bristol stool chart?

When dizziness or brain fog continues after a concussion, it can be difficult to know whether you should keep waiting or seek further help.

These symptoms can have several contributors. Sometimes the neck, visual system or inner-ear balance system is involved alongside the concussion itself.

A concussion assessment can help clarify the pattern and give you a more specific plan for what to do next.
