What I notice when someone gets on the massage table
Many people think a massage begins when the therapist starts applying pressure.
For me, it begins the moment I open the door.
I observe your body language, your gait, the way you walk, the way your carry yourself and so much more. Once on the table I observe how your body naturally rests. I look for subtle clues like shoulder height, hip position, muscle tension, posture and movement patterns. These small details help me understand where your body may be compensating, holding stress or working harder than it should.
It's not about judging your posture or finding faults - it's about understanding your body so I can provide the most effective treatment possible.
Every massage is tailored because every body has its own story.
