We understand that the rising cost of living is affecting everyone, and we know that any increase in healthcare costs can be challenging. After careful consideration, some of our consultation fees will increase from 1 August 2026.
This decision has not been made lightly. Like many small businesses, our practice continues to experience significant increases in operating costs, including staff award wage increases, medical supplies, utilities, technology, and other essential expenses required to provide safe, high-quality care.
There is some positive news alongside this change - Medicare rebates have also recently increased. This means that for a standard consultation, the out-of-pocket cost to our patients will only increase by 85 cents.
Our commitment remains the same - to provide compassionate, comprehensive healthcare in a welcoming environment with the time and resources needed to care for our patients. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and ongoing support, which helps us continue delivering the high standard of care our community deserves.
