Honoured to have met Presvetera Dr Eugenia Constantinou last night at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Our Lady 'Axion Estin'. We are blessed and fortunate to have her visit us in Melbourne, through the efforts of Father Phillip and Bishop Evmenios. 👏👏 ✝️Her talk on thinking orthodox and acquiring an orthodox mind was incredibly valuable, insightful, inspiring and from the heart. 💒 Recommend reading her books and listening to her podcast. Books can be purchased from the bookshop at the northcote cathedral. Her podcast is called Search the scriptures Ancient Faith Ministries.

This week is Greek Orthodox Easter ✨
Most are frantically cleaning, baking, shopping for the Easter celebrations. I must admit my favourite things to do.

However it also a time of sacrifice, renewal & soulfulness…🙏…we are reminded of the home within?
 our mind, our heart, our gut.

This Easter, take a moment to reset 🤍
Clear the cobwebs of worry
Release old hurt
Let go of what no longer serves you
Make space for:
LOVE 💛
HOPE ✨
PRAYER 🙏
KINDNESS 🤍

Last Sunday we commemorated the liberation of Ioannina.

On February 21, 1913, Ioannina was liberated after nearly 500 years of Ottoman rule, following the decisive Battle of Bizani. A historic victory that brought Epirus into the Greek state 🇬🇷
Today we honoured that history with a beautiful church service, followed by traditional dancing and shared food — a special way to begin our Lenten period together.
