The podcast is just the beginning. We are here to create a community!

Beyond the Therapy Room isn't just a podcast.

It's a space for therapists and helping professionals who want honest conversations about identity, relationships, business, visibility, burnout, boundaries, and what happens when you stop squeezing yourself into one version of who you're allowed to be.

The podcast starts the conversation.

Our Skool community is where we keep having it.

Inside you'll find:
✨ Podcast discussions and reflections
✨ Free resources and trainings
✨ Ways to work with us
✨ Education
✨ A community of therapists having the conversations they're often thinking—but not saying

No fluff. No pretending. Just real conversations, learning, and growth.

Not because we had it all figured out.
Not because it was perfect.
Not because every word was polished.
We hit record anyway.
Because too many therapists spend years waiting until they're "ready."
Ready to be seen.
Ready to speak.
Ready to try something new.
Ready to step beyond the role they've always known.
This podcast is about the conversations that happen beyond the therapy room.
The messy ones.
The honest ones.
The ones uni never taught us.
The identity shifts, business lessons, visibility fears, boundaries, burnout, growth, and everything in between.
No perfect scripts.
No pretending we've got it all together.
Just two therapists having the conversations we're already having behind the scenes.

There comes a moment in every healing journey where we quietly admit something we don’t often say out loud.

A part of us is still waiting to be saved.

Not because we are weak.
Not because we are incapable.

But because somewhere along the way, we learned that our needs were too much… or not enough.

The longing to be rescued is often a younger part of us asking to finally feel safe.

And here is the gentle initiation:

No one is coming to save you, because you are no longer the child who had no choice.

You are the adult who can turn toward that part with steadiness.

This is where self-leadership begins.
This is where the peaceful warrior awakens.

In a world that rewards urgency, productivity and constant movement, this can feel almost rebellious.

To pause.
To soften.
To wait.

But feminine wisdom does not move from panic.

It moves from attunement.

There is an inner rhythm — a quiet intelligence — that knows when to act and when to allow.

When we rush, we often override that knowing.
When we force, we disconnect from coherence.

Trusting timing is not passive.

It requires discernment.
Patience.
Self-regulation.
Faith.

It means allowing life to unfold without gripping it too tightly.

The feminine understands that alignment cannot be manufactured.

It can only be received.

Where in your life are you being invited to slow down and trust the unfolding?

Feeling lost can be one of the most disorienting human experiences.

We try to fix it.
Solve it.
Think our way through it.

But often, feeling lost is not dysfunction.
It is transition.

There is a sacred space between identities —
between who you were
and who you are becoming.

It can feel like emptiness.
Like anxiety.
Like standing on unstable ground.

Yet this space is not punishment.

It is a threshold.

When the old patterns begin dissolving, your nervous system may protest. That doesn’t mean you are failing. It means something within you is rearranging.

If you are in this space right now, you are not behind.

You are becoming.

When the path feels uncertain, we can walk it together:

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned on this journey…

is knowing when to let go.

Not in frustration.
Not in avoidance.
But with graciousness.

There is a particular kind of wisdom in recognizing when something has completed its season in your life.

And an even deeper trust in allowing the space that follows.

We are often so quick to fill the emptiness.
To replace.
To distract.
To rush toward the next becoming.

Yet I’ve found that when I allow the spaciousness to remain untouched, what arrives next is far more aligned than anything I could have forced.

I’ve also come to observe the quiet patterns woven through life — in relationships, in nature, in our own minds. The more I pay attention, the more I see that nothing is random.

There is an intelligence moving through it all.

And perhaps the journey is less about controlling the unfolding…
and more about learning to witness it.

Let’s hold this space together, DM to connect.

There is a version of spirituality that floats above the human experience.

And there is a version that walks straight through it.

True integration does not deny grief.
It does not silence anger.
It does not rush healing.

It invites you to bring your head, heart and gut into coherence.

To reconcile the past instead of pretending it didn’t shape you.

To honour your nervous system instead of overriding it with affirmations.

Awakening is not always light.

Sometimes it dismantles everything you thought you knew.

But what remains after the dismantling is real.

If you are walking through a deeper layer of yourself right now, trust that this is refinement, not regression.

Healing yourself is not an escape from the world.

It is how you become strong enough to co-create with it.

If your journey calls for guidance, step gently into support:

There is a quiet strength in knowing when something has reached its completion.

A warrior does not cling out of fear.
They do not force what is no longer aligned.

They sense when a season has ended.

Letting go is not about rejection.
It is about reverence.

Reverence for the role something once played.
Reverence for the space that follows.

We often rush to fill that space — with noise, with distraction, with the next becoming.

Yet spaciousness is sacred.

If we allow it to remain untouched, what arrives next is often far more aligned than anything we could have grasped for.

Letting go, with graciousness, is not weakness.

It is maturity.

What in your life feels complete… even if you haven’t admitted it yet?

What you learned as a child was not weakness.

It was wisdom shaped by circumstance.

The hyper-awareness.
The independence.
The silence.
The strength.

These were intelligent adaptations that helped you survive.

And now, as you grow, you may feel called to live beyond survival.

You can honour the younger you with deep compassion while gently choosing new ways of being.

Healing is not rejection.
It is integration.

It is allowing the Peaceful Warrior within you to lead with steadiness, clarity and love.

If this resonates, begin gently. The path inward is always available to you.

Many of us were taught consciously or unconsciously that love requires efforting.

That love must be earned.
Managed.
Proven.
Endured.

So when we encounter relationships that feel calm, steady and respectful, it can feel unfamiliar… even unsettling.

If love once meant survival, your nervous system may still brace for danger where there is none.

This is not a personal flaw.
It is unintegrated wounding seeking reconciliation.

Healing relational trauma is not about blaming parents or partners.
It is about gently restoring coherence within yourself — reconnecting your head, heart and gut so they move together rather than in conflict.

From that place, your choices begin to change naturally.

You no longer choose from fear.
You choose from alignment.

This inner coherence is something I guide people toward inside Know The Way, a journey of self-mastery that transforms not only how you relate to others, but how you relate to yourself.

Healthy love begins within.
