Happy to be part of the screenings series in Australia of the award-recognised documentary "Meeting the Buddha"🌟

A new award-recognised documentary is screening soon in Perth as part of FanForce’s community cinema program.

Meeting the Buddha explores the life and legacy of the 16th Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, tracing how a Tibetan Buddhist lineage was preserved through exile and carried into the modern world. The film also follows the personal journey of Ole Nydahl, whose meeting with the Karmapa in 1969 became a defining moment that shaped decades of cross-cultural transmission.

Blending interviews, rare archival footage, and animation, the documentary has screened internationally and received multiple festival awards, including recognition for directing and human-interest storytelling .
