Commercially manufactured medicines are produced in set strengths. Sometimes the strength prescribed for an individual patient is not one of them.

Compounding allows a medication to be prepared according to a specific prescription when an appropriate commercially available strength is not available and compounding is suitable for that medicine.

This can be relevant in a range of circumstances, including paediatric medicine and situations where a prescriber needs a very specific dose.

At ISPHH Albury Compounding, every compounded medication starts with the prescription. The formulation is then prepared to match what has been prescribed rather than asking the patient to fit within the limited strengths commercially available.

With 24 hour script collection, you can order your medication ahead of time during business hours and collect it later when it suits you.

You can drop your script off in store, leave your regular scripts on file, or email us your eScript. Once your medication has been prepared, it can be collected from the secure 24 hour collection point.

That means you do not need to come back before closing time, and you do not need to wait in store while your medication is being prepared.

It is a practical option for people who want to keep their day moving.
