A little glimpse into our recent endometriosis ultrasound training day.

Endometriosis can be complex, and recognising its ultrasound features requires specific knowledge, technique and a systematic approach.

During our training day, we had the opportunity to identify and assess endometriosis findings, putting our learning into practice with real cases and imaging.

We’re pleased to now be accepting referrals for dedicated endometriosis ultrasound examinations at Hinterland Ultrasound in Alstonville.

Our aim is simply to provide access to a high-quality, specialised assessment closer to home for patients in our local community.

Referrals are now welcome from GPs and specialists.

🌿 Specialised Endometriosis Ultrasound — now available at Hinterland Ultrasound

We’re excited to announce that Hinterland Ultrasound will now be offering specialised endometriosis ultrasound in Alstonville, helping women in our local community access this important imaging closer to home.

To launch this service, we’re hosting a DIE ultrasound training day on Friday 28 August with renowned endometriosis ultrasound educator Alison Deslandes.

💚 We have just TWO bulk billed appointments remaining for this special training day.

If you have symptoms that may be associated with endometriosis — such as painful periods, pelvic pain, pain with in*******se, pain with bowel motions or difficulty falling pregnant — speak with your GP about whether a specialised endometriosis ultrasound may be appropriate for you.

Receptionist | Medical assistant

Casual position initially while training, with a view to a permanent part-time job if preferred.

We are looking for a part-time medical receptionist | medical assistant to work in a beautiful private medical centre in Alstonville, Northern NSW.

We have an Ophthalmologist (Eye Specialist), Psychologist, and Sonographer working here.

You will work 22.5 hours a week on average. The days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9 am to 5 pm, but there is room for flexibility. We also need flexibility to fill in for holidays and sick leave.

No formal experience is needed, but you must enjoy working with people and have computer skills, as you will work on 3 different software systems.

The role includes: answering phones, greeting clients, booking appointments and operations, billing, helping with eye testing, helping clients with paperwork, cleaning and whatever else is required to keep the centre looking gorgeous and running smoothly.

We are a great team of fun and friendly people working in a beautiful location. We love working here and would love you to join us.

We are offering two lucky ladies a half price Deluxe 3D/4D ultrasound for Friday the 15th of August Normally valued at $220
the recipient will only have to pay $110 for a 20min 3D/4D session which gives you up to
20 images on USB to take home. If you are between 26-30 weeks pregnant this is for you. If you don’t want to be excluded but are not quite this gestation or past it you can also nominate yourself or a friend and use this for a gender or reassurance scan.
