That feeling before a hard workout?
Most people call it dread.
We’d call it a gift.
Your body is about to be challenged. Your mind is about to be tested. And for the next hour, nothing else exists except the work in front of you.
There aren’t many things in life that give you that.
So next time you’re standing at the whiteboard thinking “”this is going to hurt””...
You’re right. It probably will.
And on the other side of it you’ll feel more capable, more clear-headed, and more alive than you did when you walked in.
That’s not something to dread.
That’s something to be grateful for.
