🚨 AUSALERT TEST – TODAY AT 2:00PM (NSW) 🚨

Just a heads up for everyone - At 2:00pm today, Australia will conduct a national test of the new AusAlert emergency warning system.

📱 If you have a compatible mobile phone, smartwatch or tablet, your device will:
🔊 Sound a loud emergency alert
📳 Vibrate
📢 Display a message clearly stating it is only a test.

There is no action required if you receive the alert.

On Monday 27 July 2026, a test Critical Alert will be sent to all compatible mobile devices in Australia.The alert will override 'silent' and 'do not disturb' device settings. It will appear like a system notification on screens and make a loud siren sound for 10 seconds.

LCD Lifestyle Group is looking for dedicated individuals to become a part of our team. We have casual and/or part time positions for Community Support Workers in Port Stephens, Newcastle and Lower Hunter areas. Evenings and weekend work available.
If you are positive, motivated, reliable, got an eye for detail, empathetic with excellent communication skills and looking for a rewarding job, then contact us today.
LCD Lifestyle Group is an NDIS registered provider of community and in-home supports including - personal care, social support, accessing the community, transport to medical appointments, domestic assistance and in-home support.
We pay in accordance with the SCHADS award (community service), plus kilometres. Pay rate is dependent on experience.
If you have the following:
* Current NSW Driver’s licence
* Current NDIS Worker Screening,
* Current WWCC
* Current first aid certificate
* Current Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent
* Experience in aged care and/or disability
* Experience in the use of manual handling equipment e.g. manual hoist
* Must be able to work between 6am and 8pm and alternate weekends.
People with lived experience are encouraged to apply.

💖🎟️ MILLIE’S RAFFLE IS HERE! 🎟️💖

The Chair Syndicate Australia and Mob Sydney Awabakal are rolling together to help raise funds for little Amelia “Millie” and the custom wheelchair she desperately needs.

🎟️ Raffle tickets are just $5 each, with prizes still being collected and plenty more prizes to come!
