MORE than 70 people gathered at the new Rural Medical Imaging practice in Atherton last Friday to mark a new era in services, with the unveiling of the first MRI machine installed in a rural area in Queensland.

Good morning everyone. RMI Atherton has been busy the last couple of weeks operating in it's new practice at 55 Mabel.

We finally got to have our Grand opening yesterday afternoon, and what a great turnout. We want to again thank everyone involved, we are proud of this fantastic new asset for Atherton and to be able to offer an MRI service for the area.

We also bid farewell to Kieron Norris, who has been helping manage RMI for over 10 years. We wish him all the best on his Boating adventures.

We look forward to serving the community the best way we know how, through our ongoing commitment to professionalism and patient care.
