Novo Nordisk and TGA have informed us that supplies of Ozempic will remain limited until the end of June. Anyone on Ozempic should contact their doctor for alternative treatments if necessary.

Message from the TGA regarding Pholcodine cough medicines.

Pholcodine-containing medicines, such as cough syrups, oral solutions and lozenges, have now been cancelled and can no longer be sold in Australia. Consumers are reminded to check their medicine cupboards for any of these products and discard them safely.

If you’re undergoing general anaesthesia and may have taken pholcodine in the past 12 months, tell your health professional prior to the procedure.
