So this is our fertility story in a nutshell, there is so much more to it but as a summary this is it.

We are so beyond blessed to be pregnant with our 3rd little girl 🫶 it’s been a real journey and a roller coaster to say the very least. But I started this page to help other women feel less alone, and by sharing my story now I am hoping to help other women feel hope 🫶

I credit a lot of this pregnancy still going well to the immune protocol if I’m honest as well as a good doctor who listens to me. Bring on the next half of this pregnancy and being able to breathe when she’s born safely in my arms ♥️

Delayed post from May 4th 🤍

Beta #3 was in, and we were off to Melbourne for my first intralipid infusion.

I’ve had so many people ask what an intralipid actually is. Basically, it’s a fat emulsion that’s sometimes used as part of an immune protocol in pregnancy. Because of my history of recurrent pregnancy loss and the immune issues we’ve uncovered over the years, my specialist recommended adding these to hopefully help create the best possible environment for this little baby. (To date I’ve done these every 3 weeks this pregnancy)

It’s definitely not something every pregnant woman needs, and the evidence is still evolving, but after everything we’ve been through, we decided to throw everything at this pregnancy.

Back then we were taking it one blood test, one scan and one treatment at a time… hoping this would finally be our baby. 🤍

Delayed post 29/04

I just found out I’m pregnant 2 days before surgery, I have started the immune protocol that I was on when I was doing IVF & have booked an appointment with my RI next week.

I lost track in this video but I started taking, pred, LDN, plaquinel, clexane, neuopogen and aspirin. Once I speak to my RI this list gets a bit bigger ♥️

What if it does work out?

We focus so much on her…
but no one talks about this part 👇🏼

A “normal” s***m test doesn’t tell the full story.

You can have:
– good count
– good motility
– good morphology

…and still be dealing with things like this:

DNA fragmentation
This is when the DNA inside the s***m is damaged or “broken.”

So even if the s***m looks fine…
the genetic material it’s carrying isn’t.

This can lead to:
– fertilisation issues
– embryos not developing properly
– miscarriage

Think of it like this…
the s***m delivers the blueprint, but parts of it are scrambled.

Anti-s***m antibodies (ASA)
This is when the body (male or female) treats s***m like an enemy and attacks it.

It can:
– slow s***m down
– block it from reaching the egg
– stop fertilisation from happening

Basically… the body is working against the s***m instead of with it.

And most couples are never told to check this.

So you get told “everything looks normal”…
but you’re still not getting answers.

If you’ve had:
– trouble conceiving
– chemical pregnancies
– miscarriage
– failed cycles

please don’t stop at a basic semen analysis.

Advocate for deeper testing.
Because it’s not always her 🤍

Some hurt people hurt people…
some hurt people
do everything they can
so no one else ever feels that pain

This is exactly why I do what I do.

I know what it feels like to sit in the unknown
to not be listened to
to carry loss, fear, and questions with no answers
To feel so hurt

And I never want another woman to feel as alone or hurt as I did

So I became the support I wish I had
someone who listens
guides
and actually gets it

If you’re in this right now, you don’t have to do it alone 🤍
