In the past 24 hours I have had THREE parents contact me seeking advice on the fact that their teen/young adult son had been a victim of Sextortion! This is one of the most fastest growing crimes and the majority of victims are young males. Please please talk to your sons (and daughters) about this. Let them know they can come to you and that they are not alone. NEVER pay a cent, log off, leave everything as is and report to local Police. Watch out for their mental health as this type of offending can severely batter even the most resilient young person.

Today, just like yesterday and tomorrow, are an opportunity for you to ask your friends, your kids, or your workmates if they're doing ok. And listen. Genuinely, actively listen to their answer. Listen with empathy and compassion.
