Beyond The Divide

Beyond The Divide Too intuitive for corporate. Too self aware to be delusional.

A mum reading energy between tantrums and snack requests, in constant connection with spirit, powered by cold coffee and a dream.

I know, two posts in one day. Crazy. šŸ˜‚

I finished watching Voicemails for Isabel on Netflix, and through all the tears, I actually had a little chuckle because it reminded me of what I did after my nan passed away.

Her phone was in my name, and I kept paying the phone bill for months after she died. Not because I needed to but because I wasn’t ready to let that connection go. I’d still call her, leave updates, or send a text every now and then. It gave me heaps of comfort.

I still have some of her voicemails saved into a file, and I even had one placed inside a teddy so I’ll always have the sound of her voice.
I decided to include it in the post. It’s not often that people get to hold onto the voices of those who have passed so I know i am super grateful to have this to keep close.
I was really upset she missed out on meeting my oldest by only a couple months so having this feels special.

It also reminded me of those moments when you call a loved one’s old number years later, and someone else answers have you done that too??

Grief is such a strange thing. It has us doing things that probably don’t make much sense to anyone else, but they make perfect sense to the heart.

Has anyone else done something like this? Kept paying a phone bill, left voicemails, sent texts, or had someone answer a loved one’s old number? I’d love to hear your stories. šŸ’œ

I’d love to let you all know about a little change I’ve decided on for the next few months.

Until baby arrives (or I’m a little closer to her arrival), I’ll be offering 30 minute Zoom readings for $50. It feels like the perfect way to connect with you before I step into this new chapter.

Once baby is here, I’ll be taking a break from readings while I focus on healing, adjusting to life with a newborn, and being present with my family. With birth, then birthdays, Christmas, and a busy season ahead, I know I won’t be able to give this work the time and energy it deserves as often as I can now.

Rather than stretching myself too thin, I’d rather give my full presence while I can, then take the time I need before returning when the time feels right and life has settled a little.

If you’ve been thinking about booking a reading, this will be the perfect opportunity. With the cost of living being what it is, I’m hoping this makes a reading a little more accessible for everyone. I can’t wait to connect with you before I press pause for a little while.

Thank you, as always, for your love, support, and understanding. It truly means the world to me. šŸ’œ

These sessions will be held via Zoom only.
Alternating weekdays & Fortnightly Sundays.
Evenings & Mid mornings is when my energy seems to be best at the moment. šŸ¤

Hello Angels šŸ˜‡

I’ve been sitting on some exciting news for quite some time. It’s funny how long I’ve gone back and forth wondering if, when, and how I should share it. But I’ve always valued the sense of community we’ve built here, and sharing life’s meaningful moments feels like a part of that.

After being blessed with two beautiful boys, we are expecting our final piece of the puzzle and will be welcoming a little girl into our family this year. šŸ’•

With my boys, pregnancy seemed to fly by. This time, I’ve been making a conscious effort to slow down and simply be. To create special memories with my boys before their little sister arrives, and to truly soak in all those little kicks, movements, and moments that pass so quickly.

I also want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has had a reading with me this year. This pregnancy has been a challenging one at times, and I’ve occasionally needed to reschedule appointments. Every single person has shown such kindness, understanding, and patience. It has been a beautiful reminder of just how wonderful people can be, and our family is incredibly grateful.

I’m so happy to finally be sharing this with you all. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. šŸ¤āœØ

We live in a world surrounded by things we can’t see.
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Radio frequencies.
Yet we trust they’re there because we experience their effects.
Spirit connection can feel similar, not always visible, not always tangible but often deeply felt.
Maybe spirit isn’t as far away as we’ve been taught to believe and maybe connection isn’t something we create but something we remember.
And maybe, just maybe the strongest connections are the ones that can’t be explained, only experienced. šŸ¤

Phone difficulties at the end makes me giggle who remembers my live days? It felt like I couldn’t get through a live without something happening, the client did end up with confirmation with that right after as well which is just amazing. Gosh blessed

Hiiiii beautiful souls šŸ¤šŸ¤
I’m still here, I have writers block for posts these days. I can’t just do generic things I have to feel it you know? šŸ˜‚ not great when I need to pop up in your feeds so you remember I’m here. I’m working on it!!

The readings I’ve been offering are just Spirit connections, not psychic at the moment. Over Zoom, no in person. Which feels greatšŸŒ€šŸ¤

How are YOU? Does anyone have anything they want to share?

Before I started connection to spirit I used to think spirit would come through so strong.
Like full body, standing in front of me, having a conversation.
I think that came from movies, and from not really believing in it at first… but having this expectation that if it was real, it HAD to be big.

But when it actually started… it wasn’t like that at all.

It was more like a whisper or a blurry image, almost like tunnel vision. And honestly, that made it hard to trust.

Those first few years felt like a bit of a battle.
Between what I was sensing… and what I thought it was supposed to look like.

You really do have to go against the inner expectations you create in a way..

You have to sit there, feeling something you can’t fully explain, while people around you are probably looking at you like you’ve got two heads.

But still choose to trust yourself.

Because if you listen to everyone else in the room,
you lose that connection with yourself… and with spirit.

I used to hold back so much in readings.
I’d get something, then question it, then say nothing.

And then at the end, my sitter would mention it…

and I’d instantly think
ā€œfk… I had that.ā€ šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Every time.

Not because I was wrong, but because I didn’t trust it enough to say it.

Even now, I still have moments where I have to pull myself back and go
ā€œnope, you’ve got this Tasha.ā€
Because I’m human I still need to pep talk myself, you should see me before a session I’m like rocky before a fight šŸ˜† 🄊

Now, spirit can be pretty strong for me sometimes. But it still depends, the more you trust it, the less you miss.

I flew solo to another country… and forgot the most important thing šŸ˜…

It’s almost a year since my first solo trip overseas to a wellness retreat and I’m ready to share the embarrassment of what I forgot. šŸ˜†

First plane. First trip out of state. First trip out of the country. Basically, first everything. I wanted to prove I could do it.

Checked my bag: passport āœ… clothes āœ… charger āœ… snacks āœ… shoes āœ…ā€¦ what could I possibly have forgotten?

I sat on that flight thinking, ā€œI’ll do my breath work and sit with my thoughts,ā€ but I completely forgot protection. My energy protection.

It makes me giggle now, a psychic medium who picks up on energies so easily, forgets her protection in ANOTHER COUNTRY?

With all the releasing happening during the retreat by me and the other gals I got to share the experience with, I opened myself up to ALL of it without realising. It didn’t hit me until I got home, back in my own space, back in the calm. Different exercises and practices were used during the retreat, but I have a way I normally do my own practice & can’t rely on others. Whoopsie šŸ˜…

By the time I got home? Drained. Barely verbal. Completely out of sorts. A few weeks later it clicked: psychic attack.

Lesson learnt: Always protect your energy. Facilitators can guide, but your practice is yours. Always. Not anyone’s fault but my own. That’s how the lesson landed and why protection is always top of my to do list now.

Do I regret going? Not at all. I showed myself I could. Pre-trip, if you asked me where I’d go in the world, I couldn’t tell you. Now? I have a few places I’d love to see. Plus, it taught me a pretty big lesson on protection.
