MAW Support Services Pty Ltd are now welcoming new clients for nursing services, counselling and home and community care supports.

We have a Registered Div 1 Nurse with an amazing background and world of experience in catheters care, diabetes care, wound care and other areas of nursing.

We have a Registered Enrolled Nurse who also has a great understanding and knowledge in diabetes, wound care and other areas of nursing.

MAW Supports are also welcoming new clients who would like Counselling services. Our counsellor is a holistic, person-centred general counsellor with 7 years’ experience in the field working with young and elderly people in our community from all different backgrounds.

We also welcome new clients in our Home and Community Services area, we have a great team of experienced disability and aged care Support Workers that would love to meet you.

Lastly (for now) we have one room available in our SIL’s house. We are looking for a female participant to become a house mate with our current female participant who has been living in Ballarat East for a bit over 1 year. She is a wonderful, quite lady in her 50’s, she attends some day programs and other regular social outings.

SIL Vacancy Available – Ballarat East, Victoria. We currently have a vacancy available in our Ballarat East SIL home. At present, one female participant lives in the home. She is in his 50s, actively social, and lives with a physical disability. This may be a great opportunity for someone seeking a supportive, welcoming home environment with tailored supports. - Australian Drivers licence

MAW Support Services are seeking a casual support worker and a causal cleaner. Award rates applied to the individuals’ qualifications and experience.

Job description
The following requirements need to be satisfied in order to be considered for the appropriate position:
• National Police Check
• Working with Children's Card
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• CPR & First Aid certification – if in a supporting role
• Own driver’s license and reliable vehicle- full car insurance
• Relevant qualifications in disability support, aged care or nursing (either completed or currently acquiring).
• VISA documentation outing any work restrictions (if applicable)
• Flexible availability
• Completion of 4 of the NDIS orientation modules- New Workers Orientation, Induction, Supporting Effective Communication, & Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals- Worker Orientation Module | NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (ndiscommission.gov.au)
• Covid_19 training cert- Aged Care COVID-19 infection control training | Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care
• Current flu vaccination and relevant covid_19 vaccinations

• Disability/Aged Care Support Worker
Successful applicants will join a small team of carers providing support services to our locally based clients.
Supports include:
• Preforming basic household chores- cleaner must have a keen eye for details and a high standard in their own work
• Meal preparation and assistance- cooking/ dishes
• Providing physical assistance for all daily activities
• Monitoring health and wellbeing of your client
• Attending general health and hygiene routines
• Assistance and engagement in the community – transportation in your own vehicle
