BBNC is thrilled with the generous contributions received for acquiring a 3-phase generator and covering the installation expenses.

As of today’s tally, we have successfully raised a total of $21,845.88 through fundraisers and donations

A generator would provide the security the centre needs to remain operational during emergencies, ensuring it can operate at full capacity.

The absence of a backup system is a critical concern we aim to address.

We sincerely thank everyone who has contributed so far, we are making great progress toward our goal of $35,000!

Your support for your local health service is truly valued and deeply appreciated.

Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to all the first responders who keep our community safe, with a special thank you to our incredible Remote Area Nurses (RANs) and Ambulance Community Officers (ACOs).

Living and working in regional and remote areas brings unique challenges. Our RANs and ACOs show immense courage every single day, often operating as the very first line of defence in critical situations.

First responders are ordinary people who do extraordinary, often traumatic work to keep the community safe. Whether answering an emergency call in the middle of the night, driving long distances to reach someone in need, or providing expert care under immense pressure, your dedication does not go unnoticed.

To all our local paramedics, firefighters, police, SES volunteers, and healthcare heroes, thank you. Thank you for your sacrifices, your bravery, and your unwavering commitment to our community. You are the backbone of our region, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do

This year’s song, Beds Are Burning, written and performed by Midnight Oil, is a powerful anthem that hit a chord nationally and internationally and became a defining soundtrack of the land rights movement. The theme for NRW 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. Happy International Nurses Day to our fabulous nursing staff who work above and beyond their professional roles. We are beyond lucky to have such kind, caring and compassionate skilled nurses right here in our community.

Next week our first group of nurses head off to Mt Macedon for three days of annual emergency response training and competency assessment with Ambulance Victoria, we hope you enjoy your training.
