Heartwood Horses has lots of availability for you kids, teens or yourself to have some fun playing with our gorgeous ponies, horses and other farm animals. We can provide private sessions for funded or private clients, as well as groups. Its a great time to see what equine therapy is and why is it becoming so popular and as alternative, experiential therapy. Give Kim and call and she can answer all your questions.

Anyone having a drink tonight please share with me a toast to my beautiful Rosie who was put to rest under a magnificent gum tree tonight. Im having a Rose to celebrate the over 11 years Rosie was my constant companion. We have been through a lot together and she will always be in my heart.

We have a few new herd members. The minis are Milo and Odie. They are going to work up in Ballarat. The pretty Quater horse is Tucker and will be used for riding.

Love this simple but effective overview of the benefits of Equine Experiential Learning and Therapy (EELP)🐴💜

Whilst we do not ride the horses in our sessions we are still contributing to strength and balance in other ways.

I would probably add several more components to this diagram such as:

🐴 authentic relationships

🐴 safe attachment

🐴 how to be in the moment

🐴 awareness

🐴 connection

🐴 confidence
