About us:
We are a friendly and professional optometry practice dedicated to providing high-quality eye care and exceptional customer service.
We are looking for a reliable and organised optical receptionist to join our team and be the welcoming face of our clinic.

Key responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner
- Manage appointment bookings, rescheduling, and reminders
- Answer phone calls and respond to enquires
- Process payments, invoices, and health fund claims
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
- Assist with frame selection and general optical enquires
- Support the optometrists and team with daily operations

About you:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Introducing the brand new Topcon Maestro a robotic Optical Coherence Tomographer (OCT), the latest addition to our practice! This new device is able to scan for signs of macular degeneration, any signs of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy plus many other eye conditions.

COVID - 19 Update
To our valued customers, we would like to thankyou for your ongoing support at R&B Optometrist. We consider the health and safety of our patients to be our utmost priority.
During this challenging time, we would like to reassure you that we remain open and available to meet the eyecare needs of the Banora and Tweed area. We have taken extra precautions as recommended which includes decreasing waiting room density and continuing our high standards of infection control measures .
As always, we are also available by phone for advice.
