Still reflecting on a wonderful weekend on the Sunshine Coast ☀️Our team had the pleasure of attending the NHAA summit hosted by NHAA, spending the weekend immersed in deep learning, inspiring conversations, and meaningful connection .est1920 🤝

A huge thank you to everyone who shared their stories and especially to the incredible 'Mother Tree's' of NHAA for working tirelessly to elevate our industry, leading with service and grounding us in a shared purpose to support patient’s health journey's 🌱

We were also proud to see our very own Emily Sarkies (Clinical Support Consultant) take the stage for the Pathways to success Panel - a huge shout out to for helping make this possible 🫶

Emily joined 3 incredible women and leaders in their fields to share open, real and uplifiting experiences from their career journey's to support our next generation of practitioners. It highlighted the importance of embracing connection, collaboration, staying true to their values and the scope of possibility to fulfil their vocation, beyond clinic 💓

Thank you to NHAA for an incredible event and opportunity to support our students and new practitioners in this way. We can’t wait for the next one! ✨

We’ve all been there… Googling symptoms at 2am, reading one article, and suddenly convincing ourselves we’ve cracked the case before the appointment even starts 😅

While online health information can sometimes be helpful, self-diagnosis doesn’t always give us the full picture and can instead contribute to unnecessary worry. Many symptoms overlap across different conditions, and when it comes to treatment what works for one person may not be suitable for another.

That’s where consulting a qualified health professional can make all the difference 👩‍⚕️💬

A practitioner can help:
✨ Look at the bigger picture, not just individual symptoms
✨ Provide personalised guidance tailored to your health needs
✨ Help interpret test results and health history appropriately
✨ Review medications and supplements for suitability and interactions
✨ Create realistic, sustainable treatment plans
✨ Support your health as your needs evolve over time

Patients’ health and medication needs can change over time, so it’s important to discuss your health concerns along with details of any medications or supplements you’re taking with your health professional.

Sometimes the best next step isn’t another search tab, it’s a conversation with someone trained to guide and support your health journey 🫶

Natural Medicines Week is a reminder that health doesn’t have to be complicated, it starts with simple, consistent choices 🌿

Practitioners don’t just decide what to prescribe, they support the foundations like:
👉 Movement
👉 Healthy diet
👉 Light exposure
👉 Routine

Small inputs. help cultivate meaningful outcomes.

That’s why we’re proud to support and their community fun run initiative, getting practitioners and patients moving, connecting, and embracing the foundations of wellbeing 🏃‍♀️✨

Because sometimes the most impactful interventions aren’t found in a "prescription", they’re built through movement, lifestyle, and community. This week, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the role of natural medicine practitioners in supporting long-term health!

For over 40 years, Orthoplex has existed for one reason: to serve health professionals with formulations built on uncompromising standards. Because in practitioner-only healthcare, expectations are different, and rightly so.

Take our newest formulation Creatine Clinical…made without any excipients, it contains CreaUltra-Pro™ (Creatine monohydrate) that is rigorously batch-tested for impurities, unreacted precursors and contaminants including dicyandiamide, dihydrotriazine and creatinine. Every batch is also tested for heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium & mercury.

Because at Orthoplex, we believe purity isn't a "benefit', it's expected!

👉 Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Creatine Clinical helps support muscle health and energy levels. Ask your practitioner about Creatine Clinical at your next appointment.

When creatine supplementation first gained attention, the focus was largely on “loading” protocols to rapidly saturate muscle creatine stores. This looked like a 20g daily dose (5g taken 4 x per day) for about a week, then followed by a 5g daily maintenance dose to support muscle health.

However, the reality is a “non-loading” dose - example 5g of creatine daily (for at least 4 weeks) has similar benefits over time for supporting muscle function. While an initial loading dose may result in benefits sooner, the truth is that they provide similar end results.

People often confuse “faster” with better which is not always the case for every individual.

This isn’t a debate about which dosing works better but about:
👉 individual preferences
👉 what your body tolerates best
👉 and timing-related goals

All-in-all this is exactly the type of thing best discussed with your practitioner who can provide informed considerations related to your individual health needs and goals.

Please note that if you are taking a creatine supplement you should follow the directions of use on the label and the advice of your health professional.

Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of hosting a local breakfast with our sports dieticians community here in sunny Brisbane ✨

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with practitioners, share meaningful conversations and felt especially meaningful given our roots. Our late founder, Henry Osiecki, being a leading sports dietitian, worked with many professional sporting teams and athletes throughout his career 🌱

A special thank you to Dr Dominique Condo for sharing her expertise and helping create such an engaging and insightful event.

To everyone who joined us on the morning, thank you for being part of it — we loved connecting with our community and can’t wait for the next one. Enjoy a few behind-the-scenes snaps from a memorable breakfast 📸

If your goal is to consume 5 grams of dietary (exogenous) creatine each day without supplementation, then prepare to eat whole lot of meat every day 🤔

The reality is, coming close to getting 5 grams of exogenous creatine would require large, repeated servings of specific animal-based foods, every single day. And for vegetarians and vegans, those levels are exceptionally difficult (or almost impossible) to achieve through diet alone.

Our newest product Creatine Clinical provides 5 grams of ultra-micronised creatine per scoop, which dissolves effortlessly into just one glass of water 💧

It features a premium creatine monohydrate (CreaUltra-Pro™) developed using advanced micronisation technology to deliver an ultra-fine oral powder which is:

✅ Ultra-micronised: over 3x smaller than standard micronised creatines*
✅ Ultra-pure: rigorously batch tested for impurities and contaminants
✅ Ultra-smooth: non-gritty and effortlessly dissolves for improved convenience and consistency

Plus supports:
🧠 Cognitive function and memory recall in vegans and vegetarians, and energy production.
💪 Muscle strength and muscle mass during resistance training

If you’re a practitioner, discover the benefits of Orthoplex’s Creatine Clinical via the website today! Or ask your health professional if this product is suitable for you at your next appointment.

👉Creatine Clinical is only available to Orthoplex approved clinical practitioners. Supplements should not replace a balanced diet. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. *Compared to creatine often found in conventional micronised creatine monohydrates that use a 200 mesh particle size.

Creatine has been boxed into the “male sports supplement” category for far too long, but the therapeutic benefits of creatine supplementation in women tells a very different story.

At its core, creatine supports cellular energy production ⚡️, which means its role extends far beyond muscle and performance. So no, it’s not “just” for men in the gym. It’s a foundational compound with broad clinical relevance.

Women typically have lower endogenous creatine stores and intake overall, particularly when dietary protein is lower, which may further increase its relevance for various therapeutic applications.

Share this to help rewrite the narrative on who creatine is actually for 🔁
And if you’re wanting cognitive function support or help with your energy levels, speak with your healthcare practitioner to determine whether creatine is appropriate for you.
