Everyday Explorers hit the farm and had the best day out! 🐄🐑

This time our Explorers headed to Calmsley City Farm for a day full of horses, goats, sheep and cows. From getting up close with the animals to hand feeding a few new furry friends, it was smiles all round.

Everyday Explorers is all about getting out, trying new things and making the most of every day, Your Day, Your Way. Days like this are what it’s all about, fresh air, new experiences and great company.

Huge thanks to Calmsley City Farm for hosting us! Can’t wait for the next adventure 💛

Farm days hit different 🐐🐴🐫

Swap the usual routine for fresh air, new faces and a whole lot of curious animals. From camels checking us out to horses getting all the pats, it was a morning full of little moments that made the biggest difference.

This is what Your Day, Your Way is all about. Getting out, trying new things and choosing how you spend your time, on your terms.

Big shoutout to everyone who came along and made the day what it was. Moments like these are why we do what we do.

More adventures coming soon 💚

Nothing beats a good laugh with your crew. Jakela and Maz brought the chaos, the comedy, and pure joy to their own Suite Life moment, because your day, your way means doing exactly what makes you smile. Whether you’re recreating iconic TV scenes, cracking jokes, or just vibing together, it’s those real connections that make life worth living. That’s choice. That’s control. That’s community. That’s the Aryse way.

Today looked like moving your body, feeling the strength, releasing those endorphins, laughing with your crew, and walking out smiling. That’s what choice looks like. That’s what independence feels like. That’s you, doing it your way. When you’re in control of your day, you’re in control of how you feel. Connection, community, and strength that’s the Aryse way.

This is what support looks like.

Not just care. Real moments. Real connection. Real progress, at their pace.

Every day looks different. That’s the point.

We had an Italian in the room. So the bar was high.

Today our participants made pepperoni pizza completely from scratch. Flour, Greek yogurt, mixed and rolled by hand. Sauce, cheese, mushrooms, pepperoni, spinach, capsicum, olives. Every topping chosen by them.
Our participant Vittoria tried it.

She approved it.
When an Italian says yes, the answer is yes. Kitchen Wins. 🍕💚

Bowling shoes on. Music up. Zero limits. 🎳🕺💜

Our crew laughed, danced, bowled, and reminded every single one of us that joy doesn’t need a reason.
Community access isn’t just about going places. It’s about what happens when you get there. And what happened here? Magic.

Your Day Your Way. 💚

Groceries, giggles and Vittoria running the show.
Grocery shopping with Vittoria is never just a quick trip to the shops.

There is always a bit of cheeky banter, plenty of laughs, and this time Karim definitely enjoyed the show.

But in between the fun, something really important is happening.
Everyday moments like this are where independence grows.

Choosing what to buy.
Practising money skills.
Making decisions.
Building confidence in the community.

These simple activities help participants develop independent living skills while working towards their personal goals.

Because sometimes the biggest progress happens during the most ordinary moments.

A shopping trolley, a few laughs, and the confidence to take the lead.

That is what Your Day Your Way is all about.

We have just released the April Everyday Explorers calendar, and it is shaping up to be another month full of meaningful experiences for our participants.

One highlight we are particularly excited about is that, for the second year in a row, ARYSE participants will be heading to the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Last year’s visit was filled with laughter, animals, showbags, and so many unforgettable moments. Experiences like this are about much more than just a day out. They are about building confidence, creating connections, and giving people the opportunity to explore the community in ways that feel fun, safe, and empowering.

Everyday Explorers is one of the ways we bring Your Day, Your Way to life at Aryse. All our participants have access to these free monthly activities, both in the centre and out in the community. Each experience is designed to encourage independence, strengthen friendships, and create moments that participants genuinely look forward to.

Alongside the Easter Show, our April program also includes outdoor adventures at Mount Victoria Memorial Park and a splash-filled day with our Splash Squad swimming outing.

Watching participants step into new environments, try new things, and support one another is always a powerful reminder of why programs like Everyday Explorers matter.

Looking forward to another month of exploration, connection, and plenty of smiles.
