🌞 🏖️ 🌊This week our ACS Day Centre took a trip to the beach 🏝️ 🐚 😎 🌅

Our clients stayed hydrated and energised with fresh drinks and refreshments 🍹🍸 🍨

We practiced sun safety by wearing sunscreen, staying in the shade, and wearing sun safe clothing🧴🧢😎.

Inclusive movement helps build friendships, routine, and self-belief, at your own pace and comfort level.

At ACS, we support participants to choose activities that feel right for them — because independence grows when people feel included 🤝

The incredible clients who trust us, and the dedicated support workers and team who walk alongside them every day.

Thank you for the connections built, the goals achieved, and the communities strengthened this year.

International Day of People with Disability is a United Nations day, observed each year on 3 December! 🌏✨

In Australia, it is a day to promote awareness, understanding and acceptance of the 5.5 million people with disability in the country.

The 2025 theme is: Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress. 🤝🌟

The theme means we all need to work together to make society fairer and respect the rights of people with disability.

At ACS, we’re proud to play our part in supporting inclusion and empowering people with disability to live full, meaningful, self-directed lives. 💙
