🔥 IT’S TIME TO PUT OUT THE FIRE. 🔥
Over the next 3 months, I’m going all in on restoring my body back to its best. 💪🧬
I’ve gone back through my DNA results, looked honestly at what’s been happening with my health, and designed a plan that works with my genetics—not against them.
What prompted this?
Quite simply…
Pain. 😢
After starting a new asthma medication, my joint pain and inflammation seemed to ramp up dramatically. Whether it was the medication itself or simply the final straw, my body has been telling me loud and clear that it’s time to reset. ❤️🩹
The fascinating part? 🧬
My genetics show that the genes which START inflammation are absolute overachievers! 🔥🔥🔥
But here’s the good news…
My genes responsible for SWITCHING OFF inflammation are actually really good too! 🚒👏
The problem isn’t that I can’t put the fire out…
The problem is that I’ve been unknowingly throwing petrol on the fire ⛽🔥
🍷 Alcohol just a few drinks here there but boy it has impacted me
🍞 Gluten. A few unexpected hits
🍰 Sugar. Yep I ate ice cream on holiday
☕ Caffeine.
🥛 Foods my body doesn’t tolerate.
😴 Poor recovery.
🧠 Too much stress.
In hunter-gatherer times, these inflammatory genes would have been a superpower. 💥
I’d probably survive infection, injury and trauma better than most.
But in today’s world—where we’re constantly exposed to processed foods, environmental triggers, chronic stress and immune challenges—that same genetic advantage can become a disadvantage.
So for the next 90 days…
🚫 No sugar.
🚫 No alcohol.
🚫 No caffeine.
🥩 Low-histamine carnivore.
💧 Electrolytes.
🦠 Human-specific probiotic isolates.
🚶♀️ Nordic walking.
🏋️ Resistance training.
🌞 Circadian health.
💊 Supplements based on my genetics.
The goal isn’t to “fix” my genes.
The goal is to stop adding fuel to the fire…🔥❌
…and finally give my fire truck genes 🚒 the chance to do what they were designed to do.
Let’s see what happens over the next three months.
I’m excited, a little nervous… but incredibly hopeful. ❤️
Who’s coming along for the journey? 🙋♀️🧬💙
