Honouring the Life of John “Jack” McCarthy
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Jack McCarthy.
Dad was a devoted family man and a loyal friend to many. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, quiet strength and the genuine interest he took in the lives of those around him. He touched countless lives through his warmth, humour and unwavering care for family and friends.
While our hearts are broken, we are incredibly grateful for the years, memories and love we shared with him. The outpouring of support from so many people is a testament to the extraordinary man he was.
Family and friends are warmly invited to join us in celebrating Dad's life.
Funeral Service
Date - 17th August 2026
Time - 10am
Venue - Broulee Memorial Gardens
Address - 195 Broulee Road, Broulee NSW 2537
Following the service, all are welcome to join us for refreshments and to share memories of Dad.
Special Requests
Dress Code - Dad loved the ocean and fishing. In his honour, guests are welcome to wear a touch of blue and/or Green rather than traditional black if they wish.
Flowers - In lieu of flowers, your presence and shared memories are the greatest comfort to our family.
Thank you for keeping Dad and our family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We know he would be humbled by the love and friendship shown to him throughout his life.
