October 2026 marks 40 years of the Central West Women’s Health Centre.

Forty years of showing up for the women and children of this region. Forty years of care, advocacy and quiet, steady work behind the scenes. And we’re only just getting started on how we plan to celebrate.

Belly Dancing returns to CWWHC during Term 3 with the wonderful Michelle Kemp. Join us for a fun, welcoming Belly Dancing class every Thursday 5:30pm - 6:30pm, starting 20 August 2027, running for 10 weeks. No experience needed, just come along, move your body, and connect with other women in a supportive, judgement-free space.

We are delighted to launching our first trauma informed Women’s Legal advice clinic. We understand that separation and divorce can leave women and children very vulnerable, particularly where there has been financial or other abuse.

In partnership with Central Tablelands and Blue Mountains Community Legal Centre, we can provide women with a free legal consultation at our Centre. You do not need to be eligible for legal aid.

If you need help navigating property settlement we may be able to help. The service includes counselling support to cope with navigating the legal system, GP and service co-ordination supports.
