Learning to cook is an important life skill for everyone. It promotes independence, confidence, and healthier living. Preparing meals allows individuals to make their own food choices, develop practical skills, and rely less on others for everyday tasks.

Cooking also helps improve planning, organisation, problem-solving, and fine motor skills through activities such as measuring ingredients, following recipes, and safely using kitchen equipment.

At Nate's Place our participants enjoy planning and making new meals every week, whether its a yummy snack, breakfast, lunch or dinner!
