💗 What a way to finish Pink October! 💗

As we wrap up October, our amazing team has raised an incredible $5,600 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)!

We've also drawn our lucky door raffle, and congratulations goes to Ken Torr. Ken has promised that the Estée Lauder beauty pack prize will be going to his wonderful wife, Liane!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone in our community who donated, purchased goodies, enjoyed our morning tea and supported us as we turned the pharmacy PINK for breast cancer awareness.

We're so proud of our team and our wonderful community for coming together to support such an important cause. Every dollar helps fund vital breast cancer research and brings us one step closer to a future where no one dies from breast cancer.

We’re getting our pink on for a wonderful cause!
Join us tomorrow for our official Pink Day, where we’ll be enjoying a lovely morning tea, goodies available for purchase, and a special selfie display designed to encourage women to prioritise their breast screening.
We’re already so proud to have raised over $4000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) this October, and we can’t wait to see how much more we can raise together!

Last night at the Capital Chemist 2026 Gala Dinner, our very own Kaz Carter was named Capital Chemist Team Member of the Year!

We couldn’t be prouder of Kaz and couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of this incredible recognition!

Kaz has been part of the Capital Chemist Bathurst family for over 17 years, and in that time, she has become so much more than our Retail Manager. She is a dedicated leader, a wonderful teammate, a passionate community advocate and someone who genuinely cares about the people around her.

From supporting our team through difficult times, to going above and beyond for our patients, driving community fundraising and helping make our pharmacy the place it is today, Kaz puts her heart into everything she does.

Her dedication has been a huge part of our journey, including our success as National Pharmacy of the Year this year.

Kaz, thank you for your loyalty, your kindness, your incredible work ethic and the heart you bring to our pharmacy every single day. We are so lucky to have you on our team.

🌸We ramped up the vibe today for Pink October with ‘Wig Wednesday’! We are proud to get behind an important cause and raise funds to support women affected by breast cancer.
Thanks to our amazing team for getting involved, we have raised over $3000 so far! 🌷

Ladies, when was your last breast screen?

1 in 7 Women in NSW will be diganosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. If found early, breast cancer is easier to treat and there is an increased chance of survival.

A mammogram can detect very small breast cancers before they can be seen or felt. Women aged 50-74 are encouraged to complete screening every two years.

You don’t need a doctor’s referral to book a FREE breast screen with BreastScreen NSW.
