Bowel cancer screening in Australia involves a free, at-home test called an immunochemical faecal occult blood test (iFOBT). This test looks for traces of blood in poo, which could be a sign of bowel cancer. It’s available to individuals aged 45-74 and is part of the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program.

If our aged 15-49 you are not automatically sent a kit and need to request one, you can do this online or request us to do it for you.
Those aged 50-74 will receive a kit in the mail every two years. The results are sent to your GP within four weeks.
