Sapphire Coast Medical Practice SCMP is a traditional Family Medical Practice with two surgeries operating in the Bega Valley. All staff provide all health care in a non-judgmental way.

Sapphire Coast Medical Practice is a traditional Family Medical Practice with a varied demographic of all ages, socioeconomic status and cultures. We aim to provide complete family health care in a friendly, efficient, professional and confidential environment. All Medical, Nursing and Reception Staff and trainees strive to maintain this through their work at all times. This Practice does not disc

riminate against or disadvantage patients in any aspect of access, examination or treatment. All Doctors in our Practice strive to help our patients manage their own health problems with prevention, education, general advice and specific clinical care. We respect confidentiality at all times and understand our patient's rights to accept our advice and treatment, or not act on this advice. Our Practice has been fully accredited by Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL).

Unfortunately our Tathra Practice will be closed this week on Wednesday (3rd June) and Friday (5th June). The Tathra Practice will be open as normal on Thursday (4th June), and our Bega Practice will continue with normal opening hours all this week.

It is also the June long weekend coming up, so both our Bega and Tathra Practices will be closed on Monday 8th June 2026, and re-open again on Tuesday 9th June 2026.

In the event of an emergency on any day that our Practices are closed, please present to South East Regional Hospital in Bega or phone 6491 9999.

Last weekend Sapphire Coast Medical Practice was honoured to be the Winner of the Customer Service Award in the Professional Services Category at the Bega Customer Service & Business Awards! 👏

All of our wonderful staff at SCMP do such a fantastic job, but we would never survive if it wasn't for the caring, resilient, hard-working front office team! A big shout out needs to go to Katrina, Jodie, Penny, Bev and Bron who steer our Practice team through each and every day ❤️

Tuesday, 23rd December – OPEN from 9am to 5pm
Wednesday, 24th December – OPEN from 9am to 3pm
Thursday, 25th December – CLOSED
Friday, 26th December – CLOSED

Saturday 27th December - TATHRA SURGERY ONLY - OPEN from 9am to 12pm

Monday, 29th December – OPEN from 9am to 5pm
Tuesday, 30th December – OPEN from 9am to 5pm
Wednesday, 31st December – OPEN from 9am to 4pm (TATHRA), 9am to 3pm (BEGA)
Thursday, 1st January – CLOSED
Friday, 2nd January – OPEN from 9am to 5pm.
