Over the last few years we have been involved in working with Parkinson's NSW to develop learning and education modules for health professionals to up skill their knowledge on Parkinson's Disease. With Parkinson's being the fastest growing neurological condition in the world and the second most common neurological disease in Australia after Dementia, it is vital that we have a growing body of clinicians ready to tackle this condition head on. Wendy and I discuss the importance of exercise and the positive impact and changes it has had on her life. Parkinson's NSW have developed a great suite of online education videos and I encourage any health professional involved in the care of a Parkinson's client to utilise.
