Play is so much more than just fun. It’s how young children explore, connect, communicate, move and learn.
Join us for Playful Beginnings, a practical and relaxed workshop for parents and carers who want to better understand their child’s play and how to support their development through everyday moments.
We’ll explore:
- Reaching, grasping and using both hands in play
- Tummy time, rolling, sitting and crawling
- Pulling to stand, cruising and early walking
- Simple play ideas to build into everyday routines
- Easy activities using everyday items you already have at home
- Simple ways to build connection, communication and development through play
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask our OT and Physio questions!
No fancy toys or complicated activities needed. Just practical ideas for making the most of the play that already happens in your day.

Who: Parents/carers and babies aged approx. 5 months to 14 months (not yet walking)
When: Wednesday 2nd December, 9-10:30am
Where: Treehouse Paediatrics, 78 Beischer st East Bendigo
Cost: $76 (This may be covered by private health insurance, depending upon your level of cover)
