What does a gym session look like for a 17-year-old hockey player? π
For parents, we know putting your young athlete in a gym environment can bring up questions.
Are they lifting too heavy?
Is the training appropriate for their age?
Will they be properly supervised?
Does the program actually support their sport?
At PB, we donβt simply give our youth athletes a workout and leave them to figure it out.
Their training is structured around the individual athlete, their sport, their training experience and what theyβre working towards.
For a young hockey player, that could mean developing strength, power, movement quality and physical capacity to support what theyβre already doing on the field.
Most importantly, theyβre in an environment where theyβre supported, coached and taught how to train well.
If youβre a parent wondering whether strength and conditioning is right for your young athlete, book a 15-minute Discovery Call with the PB team.
Itβs an opportunity to meet us, ask your questions, and learn what training at PB could look like for your child.
