For a very long time, I’ve had this quiet knowing that there was a book in me.
The problem was never the writing. It was the question: What could I possibly write that would matter? that would make an impact for someone?
The fears have been familiar companions:
🫣 I’m not an expert.
🫣 Who am I to write a book?
🫣 What could I possibly have to share that is significant enough?
🫣 And perhaps the hardest of all… this book includes parts of my childhood, my growth, my dark times, and my own journey that feel deeply personal and vulnerable.
But something has shifted.
I can’t quite put my finger on it yet, but as I’ve started writing, I’ve found myself falling in love with the process.
I’m reflecting on experiences I hadn’t looked at in years. I’m following threads of inquiry and insight with genuine curiosity. And instead of forcing words onto a page, it feels as though they’re pouring out of me.
What’s surprising me most is this: all the pieces I’ve been exploring for the last ten years—coaching, mindset, movement, emotions, somatic embodiment, wellbeing, energy, grief, identity, human behaviour, the stories and beliefs we inherit, and the stories we choose—are beginning to weave themselves into one thing.
One philosophy.
One body of work.
And the reason I started 'The Energy Centr' in the first place.
A book I’ve known all along, but couldn’t quite see clearly until now.
It’s called 'Return to Centre'.
It’s about how we lose touch with ourselves. How we disconnect from our true, inner, most authentic self—our centre.
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve heard someone say, “I don’t know who I am anymore.”
That was me, ten years ago.
My focus and attention had become so fixed on everything outside of me that I no longer knew what I wanted, what mattered to me, or who I was beneath all the roles, expectations, and responsibilities.
And if that is where you find yourself right now, I want this book to be a beacon.
A reminder that you are not broken.
That you are not alone.
That losing yourself can happen slowly, quietly, almost without noticing—and that returning to yourself is possible.
This book is about that journey.
Back through witnessing. Back through unbecoming. Back through compassion.
Back to the deepest parts of ourselves that we learned to hide in order to be loved, accepted, safe, or enough.
It will include some of my story, but it will also honour the journeys of so many people I’ve had the privilege of walking beside—people who, in their own way, have returned to their centre too.
I don’t know exactly where this will lead.
I only know that I’m genuinely excited, and that this process has re-ignited my passion for the work I do.
So this is me, putting it out there.
Stepping into the vulnerable space that is authenticity.
And if you’ve ever worked with me—as a coaching client, in a workshop, or through movement—don’t be surprised if I reach out. It's your story that helped me get to this very moment.
