This week is RSV Awareness Week and we're urging people to consider getting vaccinated against Respiratory Syncytial Virus.

There is now a free vaccine available on the National Immunisation Program for adults aged 75+ and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 60+.

It is an alternative for children afraid of needles and is as effective as the traditional flu vaccine. It is not suitable for children who are severely immunocompromised. Cost is $62.95.
