A Friendly Reminder: Even Doctors Get Sick Sometimes

We understand how frustrating and inconvenient it can be when an appointment needs to be rescheduled, particularly when the change occurs at short notice.

Unfortunately, our doctors can become unwell too. When this happens, we may have no choice but to reschedule appointments. Our reception team will always do their best to offer the next suitable appointment and minimise any inconvenience.

While we understand that these changes can be upsetting, abusive, aggressive or disrespectful behaviour toward our reception staff is not acceptable. They are simply communicating circumstances beyond their control and are doing everything they can to help.

We kindly ask that our team be treated with patience, kindness and respect.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment for our patients and staff.

📞 We recently introduced Jess, our new AI telephone assistant, to help manage patient calls. We are listening to your feedback and working every day to improve how Jess assists our patients.

Jess is not replacing our friendly reception team. If you would prefer to speak directly with a receptionist, simply ask Jess to “transfer me to reception”, and she will put you through.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue improving this new service. Your feedback is important and helps us provide a better experience for everyone.
