Hair loss can be one of the most emotional parts of a cancer journey, affecting confidence, identity and wellbeing.

Our Community Wig Service provides a free wig loan service for anyone in Melbourne's south-east experiencing cancer-related hair loss, whether or not they are a patient of our hospital. Patients can choose from a large collection of wigs in a variety of styles, lengths and colours, with appointments guided by specially trained volunteers who help fit and style each wig with care and compassion. The wigs can be borrowed for as long as they are needed before being professionally cleaned and prepared for the next person.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this service, appointments are available by contacting our Community Wig Service.

Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD or other mental health challenges, there are a range of programs tailored to meet individual needs.

Speak with your GP, psychiatrist or treating clinician about whether a referral to one of our Mental Health Day Programs is right for you.
