🗣️What is Dysarthria?
Dysarthria is a motor speech disorder caused by changes to the nervous system that affect the muscles we use for speaking (lips, tongue, jaw, and breathing). It can make speech sound slurred, slow, weak, or unclear - even though the person knows exactly what they want to say.
