GRIEF 🤍

Like the endless waves of the ocean... Sometimes calm and carrying, 

At times wild and barely keeping your head above water... 

The water connects us all through time, space, makes us feel.

We must feel it, let it flow or it will hold forever in our bodies. 

Let the tears flow, wail and whimper. You deserve to feel, in all weather.

Greif can transform you, turn you into a hard shell, or reveal the pearl within, your vulnerability stripping away the layers.

You will never be the same, but you have a choice.. Remember and continue to create the connection, the joy and the love... 




Sam and I have been journeying through grief these past months, and finally lost my mum two weeks ago... It feels so hard to share that here, but the hardest things are often our biggest teachers. 

I am having an education first hand how grief is held in the body and has so many physical manifestations... more so than any other emotion I have ever felt. 

It makes me feel even more passionate about tools like bodywork and contrast therapy. Without these incredible tools these past months, it would have made moving through these physical manifestations of grief so much more challenging. 

These tools that help me be present with my body, build resilience in my nervous systems and find stillness, are never more important than in times like these. Through it all our practices hold us and help us see the gold, always. 

If you are going through grief, give yourself space and stillness, and find tools that help you to feel it all... That is the only way to move forward.
