Whether you walk, jog or run, every step helps support vital services including counselling, education, support programs and dementia research.

The event is designed for everyone, united by one important cause. Dementia impacts hundreds of thousands of Australians, and events like the Memory Walk & Jog help create more awareness, connection and support within our communities.

Dementia affects more than memory. It can impact communication, mobility, confidence, independence and everyday routines. This impact is felt not only by the person living with dementia, but their family, carers and support network.

Simple daily tasks can become overwhelming, and many people may begin to withdraw socially as their condition progresses. Thatโ€™s why creating supportive environments and maintaining connection is so important.

At Balance Mobility, we support many clients living with dementia by helping them stay safe, mobile, connected and comfortable at home and in the community.

The right mobility equipment and home support solutions can make a meaningful difference to independence and quality of life.

Because everyone deserves to feel included, supported and empowered to keep participating in the moments that matter most.

Today is World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day, which aims to raise awareness, share lived experiences and strengthen understanding of multiple sclerosis (MS).

MS is a neurological condition that affects millions of people around the world.

At Balance Mobility, we see firsthand how MS can impact movement, independence and daily life.

World MS Day is an important reminder that:

๐Ÿ”ท Early understanding and diagnosis can make a meaningful difference.
๐Ÿ”ท Access to the right supports and equipment can help maintain independence.
๐Ÿ”ท No one navigating MS should feel alone in their journey.

Weโ€™re proud to support awareness days like this because they align with what we care deeply about: helping people stay mobile, connected and empowered in their everyday lives.

By listening, learning, and supporting one another, we can help create a more inclusive and informed community for everyone living with MS.

Today we recognise Global Accessibility Awareness Day.

This day is about encouraging conversations, learning and action around accessibility and inclusion, particularly how people of all abilities can access the digital world equally.

With more than one billion people globally living with disability, digital accessibility is essential for everyone to live their life freely.

At BALANCE MOBILITY, accessibility is at the heart of everything we do. While this day often highlights digital access, its message extends far beyond screens. Itโ€™s about creating environments, services and solutions that support everyone to move through life with confidence.

For our community, accessibility means:

๐Ÿ”ท Having the right equipment to maintain independence.
๐Ÿ”ท Feeling included and supported in everyday environments.
๐Ÿ”ท Removing barriers (physical, digital and social) that limit participation

Supporting days like Global Accessibility Awareness Day is important to us because it aligns with our purpose: helping people live more freely, comfortably and confidently, regardless of ability.
